Part of my ‘Spirited Women’ series of prints, 'Flor De Juma' was inspired by the spirit of Frida Kahlo, who came through to manifest inner strength, creativity and self expression. She is shown with rainbow colours, surreal and otherworldly in the jungle surrounded by pitcher plants and tropical flowers. She is accompanied by a monkey familiar, symbolising playfulness and childlike imagination.

Designed, illustrated and entirely hand painted in traditional mixed media.
