Part of my ‘Spirited Women’ series of prints, 'Buffalo Medicine' was inspired by one of my great spiritual coaches and mentors, who has Cherokee ancestry. Her ancestors were medicine women who revered the great buffalo. This painting reminds her of that rich lineage of incredible women and invokes the divine feminine and the spirit of the buffalo.
